It's amazing how fast 10 days can go. The girls came over today to spend a lazy day by the pool before heading off to the airport and back to Seattle. It was tough to say goodbye and I already miss them so much. At least it is only a couple of months until we head home for summer.
Lucy sure enjoyed playing with her Auntie Lur and Auntie Kimberly - she thought they were very fun indeed!

She sure is a squirmy one though!

Here are some photos from yesterday. We left Lucy and Pete at home and headed to Macau for the day. Macau is the Vegas of China. They even have a Venetian and a Wynn. Here we are on the ferry -it's about an hour ride.

So, it wasn't really the best day to spend a quiet day in Macau. This is because the Olympic torch was coming through. There were crowds of people everywhere waiting to catch a view.

And what would the Olympic torch be without a Chinese man on stilts, right?

Although the casinos are fun, I think the best part of Macau is the "Old Town" which has a Portuguese flare. It's nice to feel like you are in Europe every once in a while.

Even though I now live in a place that has Starbucks everywhere, I still suffer a little from the PTSD of living in Bulgaria where there was not a Starbucks insight. I was glad to see that Macau had a 'Bucks waiting for us. Here's a funny little story: I got a powdered cover pastry at Starbuck, which went nicely with my coffee. Lorissa wanted a bite and as she bit in something made her giggle. Her laugh made the white powder go everywhere - all over her, me, and the display stand of coffee mugs. It totally cracked me up.

Here are some pictures from today. This picture is for Auntie Ali. Lucy wanted you to know that she loves her cute swim suit. It is still a little big, but she couldn't resist wearing it to the pool today. Lucy is LOVING swimming. It's a good thing there is a pool in our apartment complex.

And last, but not least, here a picture of Lucy who now fully pulls herself up and scoots around her crib. We can't believe how fast this girl is growing up.
