Fun in the Winter

Winter Break started early with lots of snowy fun! 

In true Sof form she was wearing a skirt under her snow pants!  That girl LOVES her skirts!

Ava went with me to mail some letters at Bales.

Lucy and I got a fun alone date at OMSI!  It was good to spend some time with her. 

She says she "over" Chemistry, but this girl loves her experiments!

Pete and I always get a date on December 23rd thanks to Auntie Katy and Auntie Jill.  This year we went to Rock Creek Tavern and it was the perfect location for Christmas cheer! 

After Christmas, we headed to the beach!  Sof got to bring her friend, Raina, and come family friends came too, so everyone had a buddy!

These are a little out of order - Katy and Jill always take the kids on the 23rd and then we all come over on the morning of Christmas Eve and decorate gingerbread men.

Well - here we are at November!

Lucy is finally part of a Destination Imagination team this year!  Here she is learning to cute PVC pipe.

Even though this was this month, I don't remember why she dressed up - maybe just because - but it's a cute pic nonetheless!

I got to go with some of my best friends in the world on a trip to Pullman.  SO MUCH FUN!

A couple of weeks ago we added a new addition to the fam - meet Ava, our sweet dachshund beagle mix.

We are in love with this little girl.

Great friends on Sof's soccer team this year!

Lucy turned 9! She had her best friend, Ayda, come down from Seattle to help celebrate at Wings and Waves.

Sofie wanted her hair to look like Hermione's, so we got some foam rollers. :)

Part of the fun was a Murder Mystery dinner at the Pelican.  Lots of fun!  The woman in the picture was one of the actors.

I was bad about getting pics on Halloween this year.  The festivities just got started and there was too much going on to take pics.  But, a friend got this one of Lucy dressed as a cat (but she wanted to look scary so we added some make up).
