Well ... it is finally here - the first day of school is tomorrow! I can't believe we have been here for three weeks already and school is just beginning. Both Pete and I are anxious to get started and form a routine. I am so curious about what the students will be like! So far, all of the meetings have seemed like home, so, like I said earlier, I keep having to remind myself that I'm actually in Bulgaria. I think this will all change tomorrow.
On a side note, my two cute sisters are somewhere in the Netherlands right now. They left on Monday and should be there by now. I'm anxious to get an email from them and find out how they are doing. I can't wait for them to get here in a month. Hopefully by then we will be able to show them a good time.
We are definitely getting to know our way around better. On Sunday I went downtown and got some pictures framed. It cost about $50.00 to get three pictures matted and framed! I couldn't believe it. I think it will make our space a little more cozy. I can't wait to collect more decorations from our travels.
Yesterday we had to go downtown to the main passport office. There is so much paperwork in this country! I am so glad the school is helping us out with all of it.
Anyway, I'm babbling now. I have to run and get ready for students to arrive! I'll try to take some pictures and post them tomorrow.
