The dinner was fun. I was glad I went out, but I have to say I wasn't much of a conversationalist. All I could think about was Lucy and Pete. When I called at 7:30, Lucy was absolutely screaming in the background and refusing to eat. I felt horrible! Then, I called at 8:30 and she had taken 3 ounces and gone on a walk with Pete and was calm, so I felt a little better. I ended up leaving the dinner early because it was taking forever. I got home around 11:00 to find Pete and Lucy fast asleep on the couch. Pete was exhausted. I hate that she cries for 2 hours every night. I feel so horrible for her! When will she grow out of this? The crying doesn't bother me as much as it did at the beginning, but it breaks my heart to see her so upset and nothing we can do to help. She's so, so, so sweet and good the rest of the day.
Here is Lucy's passport photo. I finally just took a picture of the picture - it's too cute not to post.

And here are three more pics, just in case you haven't had your fill.

The nanny is coming at the end of this week or early next week. I am so excited (and a bit scared) to meet her. I'm looking forward to working with her and hopefully feeling comfortable around her soon. I go back to work a month from today. Time was going to slowly at first, but it has really started to pick up speed and every day I am dreading it a bit more. Hopefully meeting the nanny will help.

You look SO great! :) Love the pictures of Lucy - she has the cutest little face. Glad you got a night out - as hard as it is to leave your family, it's good for the soul to have some time away!
Love,
Molly
