Broken Computer :(

Last night I went to bed and our computer was working just fine. This morning I woke up and the stupid thing will not turn on! Luckily our school is a Mac school, so I took it in today to have some of the techs look at it. Luckier still, Pete has a laptop computer, so I am able to blog tonight!
I have been stepping out more and more lately as a means of getting used to leaving Lucy with Marianne. It's tough every time - I think about her every five minutes, but I am getting more comfortable each time as well. Today I went into school to take the computer in and do a couple of other things. I realized how much reality is going to hit two weeks from tomorrow! During my hour in the counseling office about four kids came up to me with questions and requests. I have been living in la la babyland for the last two months and it's all going to come to an end soon! There are students with applications out there!
Lucy seems to be more alert everyday and her little personality comes out more daily as well. She also seems to be crying less (I always feel like I am jinxing myself when I write stuff like that on here). Not that she was ever too much of a crier, but she seems to be more alert, active, and less fussy everyday. She is cooing and talking up a storm, as well.
I went to the gym again today and did 10 minutes on the treadmill and 15 on the elliptical. I realize you all probably don't care about this, but since this has pretty much become my daily journal I thought I might keep track here and maybe it would help motivate me. However, please do not start making comments if I suddenly quit talking about working out - I have enough of a conscience on my own. :)
Christmas is in full force around here and I have to tell you it is strange, strange, strange! The weather is totally still summer, maybe a bit like the beginning of fall, but pretty much nice and sunny everyday. You'd think I would like that, but I miss bad weather, sweaters and fires in the fireplace. It doesn't really feel like Christmas without all those things. On the other hand - what do you get a two month old for Christmas? Any suggestions? I'm excited to have Christmas with little ones around - much more fun!
