Friday!

First of all, thank you Kristie for you comment on the blog yesterday. It was just what I needed to hear - sounds like Juliet needed to hear it too. I know it will be tough, but I was thinking about it today: I go back December 5th, which is a Wednesday. I work two and a half weeks and then we leave to go home for Christmas. When we get back from Christmas, Lucy will be just shy of three months and a lot of moms go back to work at three months, right? Anyway, it made me feel a little better to break it down like that.
I love that it is Friday. I love it when the weekend comes and Pete gets to be home with us. It's the best. I really want to venture out as a family this weekend. So far, our only family adventure has been a short trip to the mall to pick up Starbucks and some groceries at the fancy grocery store. I'm thinking we should do something that involves a ferry this weekend. What do you think? I have to get over my fear of breastfeeding in public sometime. Actually, I really don't have a fear of it, it's just a pain in the rear. I mean there is no way I'm whipping the girls out without a cover, but when I use a cover it makes the process much more difficult. We'll see how it goes.

My first pregnancy was not exactly planned so while we were extatic about him coming he came in late January. I am an accountant so being gone Feb, March and April was really not in the cards. I went back to work when he was just 6 weeks old!:( The other two boys were better planned and I was able to be home with them for a couple months. My youngest actually came to work with me for a while for reasons that are too long to explain here. Anyway, my point being three months is GREAT!

Also, having a nanny is so GREAT!! For you and her...when you get home at night the house will be clean and you can just focus all your time on Lucy! You won't have to pick between dinner or holding your girl!
