Off to bed

Well ... I don't have any new pictures to post, but I am hoping to take some of the campus and our classrooms next week. It's 12:40AM here right now and I just got home from another group dinner night at one of the other houses. Christine, who has been here for two years, made some fabulous chicken curry and shared it with us all. After dinner we played some card games. Actually, Pete is still playing, but I decided it was time to come home and rest. I feel a little homesick tonight for the first time since we've arrived. I suppose that is to be expected :) I really like the people here, but I am definitely ready to have some alone time or some time with just Pete and I. It takes a little while to adjust to doing group things all the time - even if you are having fun with the people you are with. Having said all of this, I am excited about the ongoing talk of a group trip. Some of the people who have been here for a while want to take some of us new folk to Macedonia over the first four-day weekend at the end of September. Apparently they have a favorite spot there. I never thought that would be our first adventure here (aside from just arriving in Bulgaria), but I'm up for anything. It is so cool to here the stories of the people who have been here for a while. They have traveled everywhere and seen so many things. I am looking forward to that. Anyway, tonight, however, I am going to have to settle for a journey to bed and dreams of new things yet to come - such as the first obstacle: starting work!
