First day of work

I realized last night that although I talked about our time on the Black Sea, I really didn't post any pictures of the Black Sea. Here are a couple, although I don't think my photography skills are quite good enough to grasp the beauty that surrounded us.

On another note, today was the first day of work. Well, it wasn't much of a work day. We just met with our department heads and they spent a short time going over policies, etc. Even though it wasn't a very strenuous day, I am exhausted. I am a little overwhelmed by all I will have to do this year. I'm really looking forward to teaching an English class again, but it sounds like my responsibilities as a college counselor will take up a lot of the time in the fall. This is true regardless, but last year I didn't have to teach English and 8th grade keyboarding as well. I'm really dreading the keyboarding part of my job, but hopefully it won't be too much work. I guess there is just a software program that I plug in and they follow.

We had a great evening last night! Everyone (most of the old staff and all of the new staff) came over to our house for dinner and by the end of the night Pete was teaching all the boys how to play Texas hold 'em. It was super fun. I think we will be working with great people around here.

Well, that's all for now. I'll try to remember my camera tomorrow so I can take some pictures of the campus, etc.
