Pete and I both have annoyingly indecisive personalities. We can spend an hour talking about what we want for dinner or what movie to go to on a rare date. However, we were both pleasantly surprised when we picked out bedroom furniture, a couch, a washer and dryer, and all other house "gear" in record time and very little indecisiveness. But time passed and we definitely went back to our old ways when it came time to pick out patio furniture for the house. We literally spent weekend after weekend looking, talking, and being annoyingly indecisive again. The problem wasn't finding the set, it was deciding how nice of a set we wanted - Do we spend a lot of money on "forever" outdoor furniture? Or, do we get the cheap stuff until we are a little more settled and the kids are bigger? In the end, we met in the middle and got a set from Home Depot. We have a front porch on our house, so we decided to put two chairs from the table out front and buy a small table to go with them. We envision playing cribbage and drinking a beer out here after the kids are asleep in the coming summer months - I hope that actually happens! :)

The backyard - Our yard is getting out of control. We are currently calling it "The Jungle." It needs to be dealt with NOW, but - as is always the problem - where do we find the time?
One of the nice things about living in Eugene is that we are really, really close to the country. There are a ton of farms very close by and today we decided to explore one. We went to
Lone Pine Farms. Lucy was able to feed goats (her new favorite thing to do after the Wildlife Safari). There is also a store that sells local fruits and vegetables for about half the price of the grocery store. Awesome!
And, last but not least, here is my first video from my Flip camera! I love, love, love my Flip - it has inspired me to capture more things on film (which will hopefully translate to more frequent blogging).
