Good Party!

The St. Patrick's Day party was a hit. It started early and ended early, but we had fun in the meantime. There was plenty of good food (potatoes, chili, stewed pork, bread, the works) and lots of green beer, as you can see in the pictures. At one point Pete danced a jig with Terry (who we call "The Newf" because she's from Newfoundland). The Newf is the queen of Irish jigs and she felt St. Paddy's was the perfect day to break out her talent. Vlado, one of the Bulgarian teachers we work with, discovered that a bendy straw can double as a microphone, and this became the hit of the party for those who are into lipsyncing. All in all, it was a good bash. Enjoy the pics!

Oh and one more thing ... HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY, KATE!!!! I love you so much and wish I was there to give you a big birthday hug. May this be the best year yet!

Good times! I can totally see this being all of us here at home. Leah or you would be doing the Irish Jig! Not sure who would be doing the lipsinking...
