Halloween is Around the Corner

Last year when I came home from the hospital after having Lucy, everyone had worked hard to make the apartment look cozy and homey for our homecoming. One of the items purchased by my Mom, of course, was this cute pumpkin. I don't think at that time I imagined that a year later the pumpkin would become one of Lucy's favorite toys.
"Ooooo ... I really like this pumpkin," thinks Lucy.
"Hmmm ... but what can I do with it? ... I know!"
"Of course, what was I thinking ... it can be a new hiding spot!"
I seriously can't wait to get home everyday to play with this girl. She is at such a cute stage right now, both Pete and I love it. I do think that we are in a bit of a nap transition right now, however. Just when I thought we had a schedule down pat, naps have become a real issue - lots and lots and lots of crying. Yesterday and today we gave her only one nap, though, and it seems to be getting better. We'll see. As much as I love this stage, I did also enjoy the two naps a day for a while. Oh well.

We're still working on the transition to 1 nap. It seems to be taking a while, but it's getting better.

So sweet! Will Lucy be dressing up this year?

Are you and Pete going to find out the sex of your current baby? If so, when!!!

Love you and miss you! Lee
