A Week at the Beach

We spent a wonderful week at the beach with my family. It was so relaxing and fantastic to spend time together. On our way up (we went to Rockaway), we stopped at the Oregon Coast Aquarium (another aquarium, I know) and the girls loved it. Sofie LOVES that she can walk around and be like her big sis.

Cute Lucy. She's a little stinker right now - one minute she'll be driving you crazy with her two year old ways and the next she'll melt your heart saying something sweet or funny. What a joy it is to watch her grow.

Auntie Katy bought these wands for the girls and Lucy loves playing with it and turning people into to things with magic spells.

Lucy and Sofie took their first train ride while in Rockaway. Sofie LOVED it - she just lit up every time the whistle blew. Lucy on the other had did not like the noise and needed to be "protected."

The train stopped in Garabaldi, where Garabaldi Days were going on. One of the tents was a Princess Tent - everything princess was for sale, this of course led to the following pictures:

I really, really wanted an annual ocean picture on the beach, but it was super windy and the girls just wanted to go home. This is the best of the bunch.
