BORED!!!!!
Woe is me! I know, I know ... for those of you who are not in education, you may not feel any sympathy for those of us who anxiously are awaiting a two month break. I really think this month has been the slowest month of the year. Holy cow! The kids are gone, the grades are entered, and my office is stripped down, cleaned, and organized. I have nothing left to do! Yet, I am required to sit in my office everyday from 9am to 3pm. Oh, the torture! A whole summer sitting out there just a few short, endless days away. Will it ever arrive???????????????????????????? I'm too depressed to write anymore. (Yes, I'm very overdramatic today.)

Here's a "Be-happy" poem:
Two days left,
and then you'll be
smiling in the sunshine.
Two days worth
of sitting in your office,
doing nothing,
feeling bored,
but soon, oh soon,
you'll smell the fresh air
of fun and freedom.
I can't really
do the rhyme,
and there ain't a lot of sense
in what I write,
for I am braindead.
Never mind.
Koda's out there having fun
playing in the grass.
Soon enough I'll come
and say to her (and you:) goodbye
for now.
Just enjoy the days you have
to spend time in your office.
Soon they'll pass
and then you'll have
two months of nothing boring.
Ok, well that certainly wasn't the best example of a poem... I am now going to work on my poetic skills (although I don't think I can write anything meaningful if the heat has melted my brain which is dead most of the time anyway). Hee hee. Bye for now. I'm going to study the specifics of the iambic pentameter...
