On to April, May, and June!

Ok - We are on to April, May, and June! June doesn't feel like that long ago, by the way. It was a start of a wonderful summer, which I think I grieved the end of for the first two months of the school year! Looking at these pictures, however, brings back such wonderful, warm, happy memories! I absolutely love it when we can be together having fun as a family. There truly is nothing better than family.
This was just a fun Starbucks trip pic in April.

Emma being cute!

Last year, I watched Mia and Emma on Wednesdays and Fridays.  I'm not gonna lie - these two took a lot of energy, but the love they share for each other and the fun they have together was so awesome.  Looking back, I really miss these days now that I'm working full time.  It was so fun to be with them.  This was an outside lunch on a somewhat sunny day at the Children's Museum.

Lucy's completed Science Fair project!

Tennis lessons in bunny ears.  Very Lucy. <3 td="">

Annual Oak Hills Easter Egg Hunt with friends.
Easter Egg hunt at Mom and Dad's house.

Vogue mama!

Out friend, David, who we lived with in Bulgaria came up for a visit.  SO good to connect with him and relive old times.
There was a time in the spring that an after-school trip to Baskin Robins was a little more regular than it probably should have been.  Whatever it takes to get through the end of the year.

Daisy Days with the Girl Scout Troop!

Making dog biscuits.

Emma turns 4!!!

Another trip to the beach - I think this one was just a day trip to Seaside.

Of course we went to the aquarium.  Always.

Swinging on the beach.  Love it.
Naked breakfast with Mia.  Haha.

Sun bathing in May.

Fun at the park.

Yeah - ice cream may have been an issue for a while there.

Emma's last day of 3's with Teacher Jennifer and ...

... Teacher Londa.

Fun at Out of the World Pizza - they played this game for like 45 minutes.

More Children's Museum fun!

Mia and I got to take a solo trip to the library!

Sofie's last day of kindergarten!  Class of 2027!  Her teacher, Ms. Hoffman, was so amazing.

First weekend of summer camping trip!
Lucy and Sofie's first dance recital.  If all goes well, this year Ems will join them.

At the end of June, I surprised Pete with an early birthday present - a trip to Milwaukee to see the Rolling Stones. Those guys still have it I tell ya!

Once Pete was off for his (short) summer break, we headed to Victoria BC for an absolutely wonderful family vacation.  Pete and I had talked to about going to Victoria for our anniversary, but instead decided to make it a family adventure and I'm so glad we did.  It was so much fun.

Ferry ride.

Dinner on the wharf.

Butterfly museum!

The Royal BC Museum was FANTASTIC!!!! Such a highlight.

Tea time!  We opted for a less formal (read: expensive) option for tea.  It was still absolutely a highlight and so much fun!

I'm having a hard time remembering the name of this park, but it was also a hit.

They had a petting zoo that we stayed at for a super long time.  The kids got to brush the goats.  So fun.

Breakfast at the hotel!  There is more of Canada, but you'll have to wait for July :)
