A five-day break in Turkey!

Another week and a half has passed before my eyes. Time always flies, but it flies particularly fast at the end of the school year. Yesterday was graduation, which is always fun to go to and see. The only problem here was that the ceremony is outside, which meant sitting in the sun in 80 degree temperature wearing a black robe for two hours. Yikes! It's always great to share in the excitement of graduates who have a world of adventure lying ahead of them, however. I love the energy. Here are a couple of pics. I tried to be creative with the one with the flags - I'm not sure how well that worked out. Oh ... one a side note ... Mom & Dad - I wanted to let you know that Katya was taken off the waitlist and will be going to Kenyan in Ohio on a full-ride scholarship! Yeah!!!! I am so excited she will be able to go to college in the states.
It's now Wednesday morning and our bags are packed for a five-day weekend. We're heading back to Turkey. This time to Cappadoccia, which is about an hour and a half north of Ankara. We'll get to see our friends Sean and Belma, which we are really excited about. We haven't seen them since the summer, and they are now expecting an addition to their family, so it's even more exciting to see them.
O.K. I'm being hurried out the door, so I have to run. Pictures when we get back. We love you guys!

Trac you look great! Thought of you tons when I was at the Oregon Zoo last week. Not because I was at the zoo with all the monkeys, but because I was so close to your old stomping grounds.

love you!
