Happy Valentine's Day!

To quote my good friend and former co-worker Bob Bate ... "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!" My excuse this time for lacking of posting is sick kids - we have had our fair share lately. Both had bad colds and ear infections, and Sofie had RSV. Then this weekend Lucy had some sort of 24-hour flu that kept us up all night on Sunday. No, no, no fun! There are few worse things in life than seeing your kids sick. I would take it all on for them if I could.

We had a wonderful weekend this weekend with our good friends, Sarah and Josh and their two kids Maya and Noah. Noah and Lucy play wonderfully together and had a lot of fun. It was so great to see them.

I've barely got the camera out recently, but here are a couple of pictures from recent days.

On one of the sick days I stayed home from school, Lucy and I made this Valentine decoration. I love playing with glue, glitter, and crayons again - why did I ever give those things up?
