Sweet, sweet Sofie is two months old today! The past two months have gone incredibly fast and incredibly slow all at the same time, if that is possible. She is still sleeping quite a bit during the day, but when she wakes up in the afternoon she is smiling and ready to play. She is a sweet, sweet girl. We took her to the doctor on Friday and she is definitely our little chunky monkey weighing in at 5.7kg (12lbs., 9 oz.), and 59cm (23 inches). 90th percentile for both. She took her shots like a champ, barely crying at all.
We got out the Bumbo that we borrowed from Andy and Ali when Lucy was born. I guess Lucy is still claiming it as her own. Funny ... she never really liked it when she was Sofie's age, but now she thinks it is the greatest thing ever. Sofie tried it out as well and seems to enjoy seeing the world from a new angle.
It is officially LESS THAN A MONTH until we get on that plane ... four weeks from Tuesday! Auntie Sydney will be here in 17 days! We can't wait! Yeah!

2. I can't believe what a big girl Lucy is starting to look like. It's amazing she's only 1 and half. Love the sibling stories.

Jillian did the exact same thing with our borrowed bumbo chair when Nathan was born - and the trend continues. Anytime we bring out something that was hers, she stakes a claim to it! Ahhh, sibling rivalry starts early!
