Katy's arrival brings up a "Note-to-Self" I have recently come to realize: When making a decision to teach overseas consider how many visitors you would like to have. If you come to the conclusion that you don't really like people and would like to spend two years surround only by the same group of 16 ex-pats and extremely well educated teachers drinking beer in various smoke-filled pubs and restaurants, then choose a post-Communist Eastern European country. If, however, you decided that you would like your family and friends to visit you on occasion, pick a major world city with many modern-day conveniences and good shopping. Just a thought.
Lucy is becoming a pro at walking around her crib. She holds on with one hand and cruises around like nobody's business. She doesn't spend a whole lot of time balancing, so it's a good thing her crib is padded. I think she's blowing raspberries in the picture below.
