Although we kind of counted last year as my first Mother's Day because I was pregnant, today has been my first official Mother's Day, and Pete made it very special. He spent the day pampering me with relaxation and lots of good food. He prepared three wonderful meals, including a four-course Italian dinner tonight. It was wonderful. I am truly blessed by him and by cute little Lucy.

How is it possible that Lucy gets cuter with every photo? She is adorable! I really cannot wait to meet her next fall...but then she'll probably be walking.
