It seemed as though everyone "had a case of the Mondays" today. We were all kind of tired and just trying to make it through. Overall it was a pretty good day, though. It was a good pumping day, so that makes for a fairly decent day. It's been a while since I shared TMI, so I feel it's O.K. to inform you that much of my daily happiness at work revolves around the ounces I am able to pump. For instance, when we got back from break I was jetlagged and had a cold - not good for the pumping Mom, so we ended up having to supplement with formula. This week, however, I seem to be getting back on track, which makes the effort seem worthwhile.
It has cooled down a bit over the last two days - I even wore a sweater to work, which rocked. I love a good sweater in January.
Pete's making us a wonderful Italian dish tonight - it has to simmer for an hour and a half though, so that means a late meal. Oh well. Lucy is already down for the night, so maybe Pete and I can cuddle on the couch for a while ... at least until she decides to wake up for the first time. ... Actually, I think I hear her right now. Gotta run ...
