Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

I woke up this morning and looked out my window into a winter wonderland. Apparently the skies were working hard all last night covering Sofia with snow! It's absolutely beautiful! We'll see if I continue to say that in March, but today, it put me in a great mood. We have parent conferences this morning from 10:30 until 2:30, and I wonder if anyone will show up. The first snow of the year tends to silence the roads, at least for a little while. After conferences we start preparing food. Sunday we are having Thanksgiving at the school - all the international staff cook the whole shebang for the Bulgarian staff. It's kind of a fun tradition. Pete and I are in charge of mashed potatoes, so we're on peeling duty after conferences are done. Fun!

On another side note ... I'd like to say, "Happy Apple Cup, everyone!" May the best team win (I've put a picture in to demonstrate who, I believe, has the power to win considering their ability to be altruistic and spirited). Go Cougs!
