Somehow the whole summer and most of the fall has gone by without me doing an update. Does this surprise anyone? Probably not. Due to budget cuts, I was laid off from the Beaverton School District this summer and am staying home with the girls this year. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being home with them. It's the best. I was approved through Unemployment to start my own business, so I have been working on that as well. If you or anyone you know needs college counseling/tutoring services, please visit my new website and contact me: www.theplacesuwillgo.com. I'm hoping that I will find some success in this endeavor so that I can continue to be home for the next few years. We will see.
The girls are growing up every day. Lucy turned 5 in October, which is so hard to believe. Sofie is in preschool this year and loving it. Emma is happy as a clam and into absolutely EVERYTHING. Hope everyone is well!

We took the girls to see the Oregon Children's Theater production of Duck for President. They got to vote for president before the show ... let's just say if their votes counted, they would have cancel Pete and my vote. |
