A Day in the Life of the Muilenburgs

There are definitely moments in every day when the following thought crosses my mind: "Dear Lord, please somehow immediately transport me to a beach in Hawaii where I am relaxing quietly in the sun with some sort of tropical beverage in hand ... if this is not possible, it is very likely I will lose my mind in the next 30 seconds ..."  However, there are also many moments during the day where I am overwhelmed by how much I love these little girls, their wonderful (and independent) spirits, and by the utter joy they bring to our lives.
Dress up is the name of the game around here, as it has been for some time now.  Sofie has even gotten into the full swing of things.  In fact, she is all about Lucy all the time.  Anything Lucy does, Sofie has to do too.  Sometimes this is good, other times, well, you get the drift.  Sofie LOVES this Santa hat that came with a pair of pajamas my mom gave the girls.  She wears it all the time.
The cool elf look.
Yes, it must be documented that Lucy thinks wearing her underwear on her head is very cool.  Nice.  This is how she ate dinner tonight.
A cute pic of Sof.
One week until Christmas Break.  As usual, I need it, Pete needs it, and I think even our girls need it.  With all of the rain and our busy schedules they haven't had many outings lately.  Hopefully the break will bring some MUCH needed FUN!
