Prom

Pete always says, "We totally should have gone to prom together in high school." :) He's cute. Well ... 14 years later we finally made it as prom dates. ACS prom was last Tuesday - prom is a VERY big deal around here. It's the only "real" dance they get in high school, and only the seniors are allowed to go. They invite certain teachers to attend, but it is not affiliated with the school at all, so there is plenty of wine and beer flowing - so weird to be at a function where students are legally allowed to drink. Anyway, it was a great time!
O.K. Here is a picture of Pete and I before prom ... I almost didn't post it because I think I look fat, not pregnant, but for better or for worse, this is what I look like right now. (Mom - thanks for sending me the cute maternity dress ... it was perfect.)

The girls go all out for prom ... they spend the whole day getting ready (actually, I probably did that too in high school) and they all have their dresses specially made. Oh, and they have absolutely no qualms about showing some skin!

Pete has spent the weekend bowling and paint balling ... I say get it all in now, because in four months our lives will change dramatically! I stayed at home and watched girly movies in my pajamas ... love it. It is finally June and we are on the home stretch to summer (26 more get ups to be precise). I almost started packing our things in vacuum packs yesterday, but after I did laundry I lost some motivation. It will all get done.
