O.K., so I haven't blogged in a while - it was my New Year's Resolution to blog on more of a daily basis, but like all New Year's Resolutions I didn't quite live up to my goal. Anyway, things have been a bit crazy and there is a lot to report. :)
Pete and I left for London last Wednesday to attend a job fair there. Even as we got on the plane, I was sure that this whole job fair thing was just a formality and the chances of us going home next year were pretty good. Well, as it turned out, we'll be packing our bags again, only this time we will be moving to Hong Kong! After a few long talks, we came to the conclusion that this is an opportunity we can't pass up. The school looks fabulous (http://www.cdnis.edu.hk/en/home.jsp - check it out), we are excited about our jobs, and, apparently, Hong Kong is a pretty cool place. I guess it is fairly Western, as it was a British colony for over 100 year. It only went back to China in 1997! English is an official language (yeah!) and there is a Starbucks (whooo hooo!). Of course, we'll be coming home this summer and we'll be home for Christmas again. This time we plan on being homeward bound at least every 6 months, which will hopefully make it easier to be away. So, come one, come all - everyone is invited to visit us in China!
